The end date? May 5.
The timing seems to coincide perfectly with previous rumors that said Persona 5 would be announced sometime in early May. It’s also worth noting that in an article published in the March 2016 issue of Persona Magazine, video game director, Katsura Hashino, teased the possibility of an upcoming official announcement.
This year also marks the series’ 20th anniversary. So it’s the perfect time for Atlus — the developer behind the series — to finally deliver some long-awaited good news.
Persona is one of PlayStation’s most successful video game series. Its primary focus on high school students and normal life, combined with elements of fantasy, have created a very interesting — and very special — RPG experience. So much so that it has even developed its own cult following. The previous game, Persona 4, was met with critical acclaim, and ever since its development was announced, Persona 5 has become one of the most highly anticipated PlayStation 4 titles.
If this all turns out to be true, we could finally be looking at the newest installment of the Persona series.
